My order came missing assembly instructions, which to the company's credit, they shipped me pretty quickly. That's the only good thing I can say. The wood is cheap and not sanded well at all so big pieces peel right off. The openings for shoes are so small that you can (at most) fit one shoe in. Don't even think about holding 40 pairs unless they are all flip-flops. Only very low, flat shoes will fit. I have serious doubts about how durable this item is as the whole thing flexes/twists too.

This is a great item to purchase when you have very limited space to work with. Storage units are tall and thin to fit into tight quarters. I have two of them right up against each other and it works great. I can even use the top of the unit to hold a jewelry box and other miscellaneous closet items.

I expected the shoe compartments to be a bit roomier, but you CAN fit up to two 4-inch heeled shoes in a slot. I am able to fit 2 or 3 pairs of flip-flops in one compartment. Of course, some shoes are larger and I have had to put them one in each compartment next to each other (instead of two shoes in one compartment).

The construction could definitely be stronger, but if the pieces are handled with ease, everything should work out fine. I did not have any missing hardware, the box came in perfect condition, assembly was easy and no pieces of the wood broke off. And keep in mind that I bought this unit twice on two different occasions.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because everything can be better and aside from it's very few flaws, the rollers on the bottom don't really roll. But all in all, I would recommend to a friend.

Okay quality, but poorly packaged. Missing a lot of hardware because the bottom was not taped tightly. Replaced hardware, but still sent wrong wheels, so now I have a non-roller, roller storage chest.

this product is crap! its so cheap and flimsy a piece of it broke while being put together. its not even stong enough to hold the shoes. it leans over to one side or the other. its like having 4 long toothpicks holding it togther. and the the actual shoe compartments are so narrow that they can only can hold a small pair of flip flops. dont waste your money like i did!

I love the fact that this shoe rack is tall, covered, and holds lots of shoes. Unfortunately, it is not sturdy enough to stand on its own. It started to fall over and my husband put on heavy duty clamps to hold the two racks together for support. He wanted to throw it away, but I can't find anything similar.

Very fragile. The openings for shoes are very small. When I finally filled up half of this shoe storage one peace of wood on the side (frame) broke. I would not purchased this again and I would newer recommend this product to my friends.
