This is a nice title that offers the modeller an overview of Roman equipment and clothing over the course of the Empire. There are some nice conversion pieces and the photography is above par. As with most books in this area, one title is never enough. This title will add some color to the several Osprey volumes The Roman Army from Hadrian to Constantine (Men at Arms Series, 93)Recommended for hobbyists and students of uniform and equipment.
