This Playboy DVD could've been as good as or even better than Girlfriends (considered by many, myself included, to be the best and steamiest Playboy DVD released so far), but it falls a bit short off the mark.

It seems to attempt a similar formula that Girlfriends used to succeed: fewer, but longer video segments (7 scenes, about 7 minutes each), combination of Playmates, Newsstand Special models, and amateur models (17 girls total), and lots of frolicking.

Why isn't it better? Each girl only appears in 1 scene, and on a 55 minute DVD, that averages to maybe 3 minutes per girl, sometimes even less because the girls usually start the segments fully clothed.

Another negative? We get to see guys participate in the action. As Playboy tends to not show male family jewels, the camera has to be positioned strategically, so the girls can't move around that much. The result? Slow scenes where the girls are merely posing for the camera instead of participating in a sweaty bump-n-grind session.

The DVD may also have been a slight disappointment in that they placed which I considered the best scene of the entire DVD at the beginning, which has a nice scene of petite blonde Stacie Morissette and sexy Roxanne Galla licking ice cream off each other. Every scene that follows this pales in comparison, in my opinion. It's better to save the best for last, but it didn't happen here.

As I mentioned earlier, every girl only appears in 1 scene. Find a favorite girl who you want to see more of? Too bad, you won't find it on this DVD. Personally, I prefer a fewer number of girls (8 to 10, usually) who each get a fair amount of screen time instead of a short glimpse of several girls.

I normally would've rated this DVD 3 stars, but this DVD earns the extra 4th star with the bonus of two (not just one) Playmate Profiles of Kristi Cline (blonde on the cover) and Jennifer Rovero. This is an extra 25 minutes here, with some of the same scenes that first appeared on the 2001 Playmate Calendar. Other bonus features included a 5-minute behind-the-scenes, several trailers, some datasheets on the Playmates, and the videography.

One puzzling fact? The footage for this DVD was filmed back in March 2001, but it gets released in April 2002. Sitting on the shelf for over a year? Weird. That's why all of the Playmates are from Year 2000 or earlier. No recent Playmates from 2001 or 2002 like we were treated to on the Playmates Unwrapped DVD.

Is it worth getting? Yes, considering the alternatives of junk that appear in the Playboy Exposed series of DVDs. Except for the Playmate of the Year DVD that comes out next month, we probably won't see a Playboy DVD with Playmates on it until the end of the year when the new Video Calendar comes out.

This is one of the hottest and well made playboy videos ever. Extremely erotic and revealing. And it includes the hot playmate video profiles of Kristi Cline and Jennifer Rovero. Buy this one for sure.

This video is exquisite. The girls are cute and the music is breezy. Three of the scenes are girl only. Two friends use melting ice cream to explore one another. Four babes strip and spread sun tan lotion over their skin. Two other friends use ice cubes and lemon to cool off on a hot day. The camera explores every inch. A great place to start your journey.

Overall, a good series of vignettes, and the production qualities place the female appearance over sensual/erotic content. Priorities like that are better than videos where the women are very aroused and into one another but not very attractive [read: amateur porn].

But I'd still recommend Girlfriends one over this. The women are definitly hot though.

This is the most revealing and erotic video ever produced by Playboy. Gorgeous women, and nothing left to your imagination.

This video has some very nice lookin women. There are more playmates in this one than Girlfriends which had mostly playboy models. There is not as much physical contact between the girls in this video compared to the Girlfriend video.

As previously mentioned, the bonus feature Playmate Profiles is an extra 25 mintutes of video of playmates Kristi Cline and Jennifer Rovero. Porn star Teanna Kai is pictured in the cover but not listed in the box credits. She does appear in one scene with another girl and a guy. Her name does appear in the credits at the end of the video.

For the most part, this is a pretty average Playboy DVD. The women look great even though it is a bit cheesy. I really like to see Shannon Stewart, the main reason I wanted to see this in the first place. Her segment is every bit as good as I expected, a truly beautiful playmate.
The surprise in this DVD is the playmate profiles of Kristi Cline and Jennifer Rovero. Kristi is a nice addition, but it is Jennifer Rovero that truly makes this a keeper. She is about as beautiful a playmate as Ive ever seen and one of the few playmates who actually looks better on video than in her photos. That says a lot.

Except for the fact it is about a year old; this is one the best things Playboy has got going. Groups of beautiful women doing things we only wish we could see in person, God's perfect woman in Shannon Stewart and Tequila Shots from certain navels makes this a worthwhile purchase. More please!...
