Solid construction; works as advertised... I have purchased a bunch of these for various devices around the house. Highly recommended!

Two of the outlets on my kitchen counter are in horizontal position. I was not able to plug in Standley 38425 Timer in the outlet. So I searched at Amazon.com and was glad to find this adapter. It works well as advertised.

These outlet adapters are perfect for plugging in things with large converter boxes (cell phone chargers, printers, etc.) Since you can swivel the plug any direction you can use both plugs in your wall outlet when you have such large items to plug in. I was looking for something that would convert sideways plugs into vertical so I could use the "Wallflowers" air fresheners in my house. I didn't even know these existed before I searched Amazon and it turns out these were exactly what I needed!
Each adapter comes with its own little plastic piece that plugs in so you can swivel the actual plug. (Don't throw those away!) Out of the box, one moved very easily and the other required a bit of muscle. In the end, they both turned and worked great! They are sturdily built and plug into the wall with all 3 prongs so you can be sure that they're safe.

KEEPING IT SIMPLE, THIS PRODUCT WORKS! YOU CAN ALWAYS FIND AN OUTLET THAT HAS BEEN CRYING OUT FOR THIS ADAPTOR.

This is user-friendly and works well. So many plugs are over-sized; this adapter sticks out far enough to provide adequate clearance for another regular or over-sized plug, and being able to swivel or turn it helps everything fit better and take up less space.

Not what I expected. Cannot use these. I expected that I could use these in the sockets in an extension strip cord to "rotate" the orientation of the plug; but these are designed to be used in a wall outlet - which rotates the plug in a different manner than I required. That should be explicitly stated in the advertisements.
