I have the expensive Bose in-ear headphones which costs 3 times as much as these. I cannot tell the difference in the sound quality. I spent about 30 minutes listening to the same section of a track alternating between these and my Bose headphones. I just couldn't hear a difference no matter how long I tried. The Bose headphones have better ear cushions; but, once you get these positioned correctly in your ears, they are comfy too. I use the smaller cushions and find that it takes a few seconds to position them correctly. Once I do, they are secure and don't fall out of my ears unless I accidentally pull the cord too tight. The cord length is approximately 10-12 inches shorter than the Bose in-ear headphones which may or may not be a problem for you. Also, there is no clip to secure the cord to your clothes and keep it from bouncing around while you walk. This is not a big deal for me given the great sound quality of these headphones and cool blue/green color. If you are looking for quality in-ear headphones for the iPhone 3g/3gs at 1/3rd the price of "top of the line", then try these. You just can't go wrong.

When I had to get new earbuds after my dog chewed mine up, I thought I would get these since they seemed cool and different. I took them out of the bag they were awesome. I loved the colors and the sound. But, I realized immediately that if you moved around with them in your ears they would produce static. This only lasted for a couple minutes and now they work perfectly. The downside to these cute earbuds, they are NOT for running. I got to the track and began to ran and had to take them out and hold my ipod because they wouldn't stay in. I'm considering buying a different pair just for running. But, after about 3 months one of the earbuds stopped working and would only work for 3 seconds before turning silent. I now have to send them back and see if it's a product glitch or if I can get my money back. Although these headphones may look cute they may not work for an extended period of time. They may not be worth the money but if you are willing to risk it, go ahead and buy them.

I love these headphones. They have great sound quality, the mic works great and these headphones are cute and colorful.

I have been borrowing my partner's JBL Reference 220s and liked them a lot. The third new headphones I've tried after the kitten ate mine. They were comfortable and stayed in my small, sensitive ears, unlike most earbuds (the Apple ones make my ears hurt quite a lot). After two disappointments and another kitten incident I decided I'd get my own pair of earbuds from JBL.

I love the color choice of the new "Roxy" model, but I wish there was a choice about a microphone. I really don't need one. I need earbuds that sound good playing my pretty diverse music collection and are very comfortable while doing it. I feel that the lack of choice about the microphone drops these to the 4 stars.

i own two pairs of these headsets; this blue/green one and the pink/orange one.
i got these as a replacement for my iphone's broken stock earphones with mic. what i liked about it was the item's attractive design and colors. it also comes with a handy case to keep the earphones in. the pair also comes with 2 size options for the in-ear buds and i must say that i'm extremely satisfied with how they fit. unlike the stock earphones (which tend to hurt after wearing them for a long time), these roxy JBL's do not come off and they're very comfortable to wear. outside noise is effectively blocked as well so I can definitely hear my music much better.

the sound quality however, is pretty average. in fact, it sounds almost exactly like the stock earphones of apple. i was pretty bummed about this cause i was hoping that a JBL pair would sound way better. also, i was pretty disappointed in seeing that up close the design quality and material of these roxy earphones are quite similar to that of apple's headset. in short, the wires are still pretty thin and flimsy.

bottome line: if you're looking for a replacement for your apple headset, this would be a good choice. sound quality and structure wise, they're almost identical. the only thing that makes it a bit better than apple's stock pair is the fact that these JBL's are more attractive and their smart in-ear design.

for the audiophiles: don't expect superb sound quality; you obviously need to pay WAY more if that's what you're after.

Until I managed to crush one of the earbuds in my car door, these served me perfectly. They are bright and thus hard to loose, appealing, and very functional. Since I ended up with one-sided headphones, I am buying another set just like it.

This is my second pair of these kind of headphones. I never have paid this much for headphones before but the quality of these is wonderful and I love that they have the mic on them for my iphone. I forgot about putting these headphones in my pocket and they got washed and dried and they still work! This is a great product

I bought these on a whim for significantly less than retail, not knowing that they retail at $45. Even if I would have paid $45 for them, I would still be impressed. The bass and clarity in the earbuds are great. I was happiest that it came with small replacement in-ear caps to fit my tiny ears. I would definitely recommend these!

These are the first earbuds that actually stay in my ears. I always thought that I must have really weird ears because every set of earbuds I tried fell out of my ears. These don't and the sound is as good as anything I have listened to. I use these with my iPhone and they work great.

I bought these because they were a good $30 cheaper than any other headphones with in-line mic.

-only two sizes of ear buds are included: really, super tiny and HUGE. i opted for the huge and they just barely would stay in.
-super uncomfy, hurt my ears after only 30 minutes of (w)ear time
-sound was very tiny, terrible. Im no audio-nerd and even to me they were unbarable
