I love my Shellac manicures but was really worried about all the negative news about UV exposure. I looked for something like these gloves online and found the Royal gloves. The salon where I get these manicures reassures its clients that the UV exposure is minimal and safe, but I'm happy to wear this protection. The skin on my hands had become leathery dry after a few months of the light exposure and since I started using the gloves, my skin is back to normal. The gloves get pretty warm when under the lights so I know they're protecting my skin. I hightly recommend this product!

I ordered these because i heard unpleasant things about light under which one places her hands during a el manicure and came upon this while browsing Amazon. They are elbow length comfortable gloves with the tips open for a gel manicure. They worked great and I felt better wearing something over my hands and arms. I recommend if you are dubious about gel UV light. Good quality and shipped right away. Will probably buy for gifts for my friends who do gel manicures.

Product does the job of protecting hands from UV lights. My hands are on the larger side with long fingers so they don't fit properly but they still do the trick.

Happy to have these gloves so I don't have to use sunscreen on my hands when I do gel manicures. they're comfortable and long so your arms are protected from the UV as well.

I don't know why these gloves aren't talked about more. I'm quite fair-skinned and since I do my nails about every two weeks, I expose my skin to the direct UV light regularly. I don't want to age my skin or encourage age spots. Royal Nails anti-UV gloves are perfect. They have an ideal fit, and are made of a protective, but breathable fabric. I wear a size large glove and these fit me because they do have some "give". The gloves are a perfect finger-length, which ends just below my nail beds, giving excellent protection, but allowing my entire nail to be exposed. Also, I like that they extend part of the way up my fore-arm, making sure coverage is maximum. I don't even notice them when I'm in the process of doing my nails. I like that they are light and silky. I'm definitely never doing my nails again without using them. Blue Novelties was a great seller to order from, with a friendly and efficient transaction. I have daughters with the uv gel system (they actually introduced me to it), so I ordered 3 pair and I'm glad I did!

Great product to protect your hands from uv light (which can age your hands) while curing your gel nail polish. Thanks for selling an inexpensive product that easily solves the problem.

I realize I am in the minority on my opinion of these gloves. From all I have researched in doing the CND Shellac process your hands are not exposed to a high level of UV but I wanted to be safe and ordered these gloves. I use the Shellac process at home and do my own nails. I think they are a great idea but they did not work for me. They are well made and I do believe would last for years. The ad says "one size fits most". They are one size and that was my problem. I have small to average size hands and they were too small for me and come too far down on the finger and too close to the nail. They felt very binding and were too tight on the finger to push them up. I wear a size 6 ring to give you an indication of my finger size. The main problem I have with them is that they inhibit my ability to do the brush strokes that require dexterity of the fingers. Also, in doing the processes under UV light you have to be very careful not to touch the nails before curing. These gloves made that much more difficult. Perhaps if they fit better I would not have felt they were in the way but as they are I felt like they were making my job much harder instead of easier. That being said, if I were going to a salon and having someone else do my nails I would be totally satisfied and could stand the tightness of the gloves long enough to have the manicure done. Someone asked what they were made of and the only description I could find said "produced of licensed materials that block dangerous UV rays".

I use these gloves when doing my shellac nails so I don't absorb the extra UV rays from constantly sticking my hands under that light. They work great and leave just enough of your finger outside to cure the nails without exposing a lot of skin. Would definitely recommend!
