When I first tried to put the filter in my machine it wouldn't fit. I reviewed the size and after several attempts got the filter into the machine. It would have helped if there had been instructions on the box. I almost took it apart because it was such a tight fit and it didn't look like my previous filter. It is in and working as far as I can tell
