How does this work?

Test Drive Troubleshooting

RR Guitar Fretboard Trainer LT is a tool to assist in learning the guitar fretboard. It works by repeatedly prompting the user to find and identify notes on the guitar fretboard.

With RR Guitar Fretboard Trainer LT you can create alternate tunings, learn with a right- or left-handed fretboard, and adjust sound. There’s also a fretboard explorer and full-screen or scrollable fretboard.

Guitar Fretboard Trainer LT is the free version of RR Guitar Fretboard Trainer, which is also available on Amazon.com. This version offers all the same functionality except the ability to create and save custom game profiles.

love it, love it,love it. read music for piano but had a hard time translating it to the guitar. this app makes sense and works. I just bought the regular version.

Shows and plays the note on the fret board between one through twelve, and then you choose the corresponding note on the bottom and vice versa. Sometimes the played note cuts out, but doesn't detour game play. Also tracks time and score. Definitely a keeper and with practice you'll definitely get to know your fretboard.

Great App for reviewing, learning, or studying the fretboard. Has several play options including 1st string all notes or All Strings First Five Frets. For someone looking for a casual App/Game that has value for a guitarist this is a good game for killing time, having fun, and is more productive for you than something like PvZ or Angry Birds in that it is more than just a game. Wish they would make this for iPhone/iPod also.
