I bought this after receiving my unique tanzanite and alexandrite engagement ring. I was thrilled that it was easy to use, but was disappointed by the cleaning results. I had heard by jewelers that Ionic cleaners were the best way to clean, but I didn't have fantastic results. The cleaning is very gentle on stones, but the bottom of the ring became cloudy from dirt which was untouched by the machine. After a few uses the button would not turn off so to stop a cleaning cycle, I would have to unplug the machine to turn off the cycle.
