We use this to dispense salt. It's attractive and well-made. It is easier to "pinch" out the salt from this server when cooking, yet it also functions well on the dinner table.

Love It!
Exactly what I was looking for! Great for keeping Kosher salt for cooking. Easy to open, keeps salt covered. Teeny, baby spoon useless to me but love the container!
