This was an amazing gift and I have had it for a few years now. It is a heavier/thicker bowl with tall sides--perfect for making bread dough, thawing turkey--etc. etc. It has been used upside down as a drum for my then toddlers... has been dropped, been through a dishwasher, etc. etc. etc. It has kept it shape, performs AWESOME, and I have since purchased the rest of the bowls in the set. If you want a sturdy bowl, that is large enough to hold a 12 lb bird and thaw it, rise enough dough for 14 pizzas,and heavy enough to hold up against a wild musical performance by a 2 yr old--you will NOT be disappointed by this bowl.

My husband bought me this bowl years ago...with it is sturdy yet light-weight, with deep sides. It is great for mixing both small and large batters. It is also perfect for giant batches of popcorn.
My sister admired the bowl and I was thrilled to find it on Amazon for a very good price. This is a simple, useful, bowl that makes a great gift!

Completely satisfied with the product, it is well constructed and perfect for my usage. It arrived promptly and I would not hesitate to use this vendor again.

This bowl is made of heavy-gauge aluminum, and it's also well-finished. It's exactly what I needed. It was initially out of stock, so I had to wait a short while, but the wait was worth it. I would definitely buy from this vendor again.
