The double filters work great with the endurance Compost Pail. There are no odors from our kitchen scraps which is key. The only negative is that although I don't smell anything from the pail, the fruit flies do. The pail still attracts fruit flies in the summer months. I don't know that they can actually get in past the filters but they try. And I don't know if there is a way around this issue.

I am very pleased with the composter pail. My former pail was plastic and after time became stained and carried an odor that cleaning would not remove. The stainless steel type cleans beautifully, can be placed in the dishwasher and unlike the ceramic types won't break. This model holds quite a bit of scraps eliminating the need to empty on a daily basis and the double charcoal filter system really works in odor control.

The composter meets all our needs. It looks good on the counter and prevents any odors from escaping. It is also larger than most so we don't have to dump as often.

GREAT PRODUCT! I have a compost pail that I use every day, several times a day, and I keep it in my kitchen. I would say it gets filled up about every 5 days, so its sitting for that length of time with all the compost inside. When I remove the lid to add more to the pail, sometimes the smell is just awful, especially in the warmer weather when things start to decompose very quickly. But this filter is terrific; I never smell ANYTHING when the lid is on (and thankfully, neither does anyone else!) I highly recommend this filter...it really does the job it's supposed to!

These were just what I was looking for. I had purchased the compost container from William Sanoma, but was unable to order filters from than any more. These were cheaper and work perfect. I am very happy to have the ability to not take the compost outside to the compost bin on a daily basis.

I just put one of these filters in there, make sure the lining isn't keeping the lid from shutting tight and everything works out. Now after a week or more I do begin to notice, "Oh hey rotting food scraps are in my kitchen". So at that point I tell the wife to go dig a spot in the compost and empty the sucker out, just like taking out the garbage.

I recommend this product for use in containing compost smells in your compost pail. I do not recommend it as a loofah.

I've been using the compost pail for years to temporarily hold vegetable scraps in kitchen till I walk out to the pile. These filters fit the lid perfectly and keep fruit flies and odors at bay.

These filters are very effective at keeping compost odors at bay in our kitchen compost pail. i was wary about having a compost crock on the countertop, but the filters have made it easy. For us, at least, they last at least as long as recommended before needing to be changed, usually quite a bit longer.

I bought this for my Mom for a Christmas present (she did request one) and she told me over the weekend that she just loves it! No smell, no fruit flies like some of the reviews mention. I would highly recommend it!

The filters are good, the price is good, and the delivery was prompt. This is a fine example of purchasing on Amazon at its best.
