My favorite cheese is mozzarella. I have several dedicated mozzarella slicers. They all cut too thick. I decided to try this cutter despite reservations that the mozzarella would ball.

This cutter works perfectly on mozzarella. The biggest advantage is I can now cut to any thickness.

I had a cheese slicer by another company previously. It sliced like I needed it but it was kind of cheap feeling. The arm was always wobbly. I couldn't find replacement wire for it online but the company said I could mail them a one dollar check and they would mail me one... that seemed kind of shady so I opted to just buy a new one. When this one got to my house I used it right away to check it out. I've got to say it's awesome! I bought a pack of replacement wires to go with it just in case but it actually came with an extra wire tape to the bottom of the slicer. So now I have 5 replacement wires. Anyways... great product... I definitely recommend this if you're looking for a new slicer!!!

Delivery of this item was super fast, which suit me well as I couldn't wait to get it for a party. The product works well in general and is a decent size.

The only thing is that I returned my first one because I received it with some chips in the marble, only to receive this one with nicks in it as well. it also came with the wire disconnected from the handle and so I had to put it back together (not so hard if you get someone else to push while you screw the round handle back on).

I am not going to return this one and order another as it slices perfectly well, but I just wanted to let others know so they won't expect it to be in perfect condition. The chips and scratches don't affect the function of the slicer so overall I am satisfied.
