if youre into hearty soups stews and chilis during the fall and winter months this small infuser is a lifesaver. any herb that you want to add to a dish without picking it out of your food (have you ever bit down on a peppercorm or even the stem from some thyme) this is the thing to use.. just add what you cant chop up in your dish and lock it up.. the only reason i didnt give it a 5 is because the chain is too small and i wish they had one to use with a big pot. but just sit the infuser in the pot and dont use the chain its removeable just fish it out and throw away the herbs inside. i bought one while in orlando and cooked some ox tails in a crock pot... they were the best ive made ever... and didnt have to fish out anything. happy cooking
