RSVP 4.5 Quart Square Bamboo Compost Pail

The fist time I tried to pickup the plastic insert/bucket the handle pulled off and now continuously does so. The bamboo is coming apart at the seems. Not what I would expect for $50. This compost pail would not be a bad deal if it were $20, but for almost $50 the quality just isn't there. I'm thinking about retuning it.

The bucket/box is beautiful I'm hoping for the best that it won't fall apart as stated in a previous review. The build quality is a little shaky, The wooden handle isn't attached evenly so it won't fall evenly to one side. We are going to be careful pulling heavy loads with the liner handle inside. All in all it's worth putting up with it because it's so much better looking than a lot of other pails out there. I'll come back in a month or so to report.

So this is a great lookin' lil pail that has easily changeable charcoal filters. Only issue we've found using it for a year or two is that the wood laminate on the lid has lifted a lil bit. Hasn't lifted to where it's coming off but just noticeable is all. Oh, and we just removed the little metal inner handle on the plastic lining' cause it just wasn't' inserted very well and kept coming off.
