Very handy tool but they aren't great with a few things. First of all, when cutting fresh herbs, especially things like chives, the cuttings get stuck between the blades and have to be pushed out with another knife. They also fly everywhere, so use a cup to cut in.

Also, not great on stiffer things, like rosemary still on the stem.

Really good for dried leaves though.

I have a large garden with a lot of herbs. I thought this would be a great gadget to speed up the process of chopping the herbs. It works to finely cut the herbs. But, it does not release them easily. A bit of shaking the scissors, and most of the cuttings will come out. Still, I wish it worked better than it does. I will use the scissors when I have a large amount of cutting to do. Other than that, I'll stick to tearing the herbs by hand for smaller dishes. Not a bad product...but, again, it could be better.

The scissors worked as advertised. There is no real advantage for buying. The herbs stick between the scissors even when the herbs are dried well. If you use fresh herbs, they will stick. A sharp knife works just as well, perhaps better because the herbs only stick to the one blade and requires less effort to get the herbs off.

These stainless steele RSVP herb scissors are easy to use, efficient and time saving. They cut up the herbs I freeze quickly and I wish I had known about them earlier. Also they are dishwasher safe!

Highly recommended. They are very convenient for quickly and easily preparing small amounts of chopped herbs. Be careful with them, as they are super sharp, but that's what makes them work so great. Rinse under running water after use to keep herbs from drying between the blades.

I enjoy having friends over and doing the whole "cooking as entertaining" thing. Every time I pull these scissors out, my guest wants to be the herb-chopper. These are just fantastic. Some reviewers complain about the pieces that get caught up between the blades but all you have to do is run a butter knife between the blades before washing. All in all, the scissors are a time saver and the little bit of time it takes to clean between the blades doesn't ruin the momentum. Besides, they're great fun and a great conversation piece. Buy them and be the life of the party, too!

The product worked well....the scissors are sharp and made quick work of cutting up fresh rosemary I was using. Easily rinses clean.

These herb scissors are very good. The grip is comfortable and they work great for quickly snipping herbs into recipes or as garnish. They make a tedious job more fun.

I have mixed feelings about these scissors. I do get tired of the tedious and often time-consuming task of chopping fresh herbs. These scissors do a pretty good job of getting through a large amount of herbs but there are a few drawbacks with the design. They come with a cleaning tool to unclog the herbs from between the blades, which you often need to use three or four times per use for a single bunch of herbs, like parsley. This can make the process a bit messy. Also, it does not chop herbs very evenly if you are trying to make it a fast task. Sometimes you have to go back into the chopped pile and grab some of the larger pieces so you can recut them. All of these things can be a bit annoying, but I still don't think it is as annoying as chopping them by hand. Unless prepping herbs the old-fashioned way with a knife and cutting board does not bother you, you might still give these scissors a try. I am still working on a way to make these easy to use and will update my review if I come up with any tricks.

The RSVP Herb Scissors save time and energy. I received them as a gift, and was so happy that I order 2 of them as gifts for a couple of gourmet friends. They reduce preparation time to a fraction. They are easily cleaned by running a table knife between the blades, and wash in a jiffy. Though I don't recommend this practice for everybody, I also use them to cut eggs and cold cuts.
