I've has the MTX RT10-200 in my Jeep Wrangler(hard top) for a week now, and love it! Fits nicely in the back and still leaves a good amount of room for groceries or whatever.
At 75% volume it puts out enough bass to shake my mirrors. I have the cross over somewhere around 80-90 as it should be and the bass is really tight and clean. I listen to every type of music, so the included level controller works well to adjust bass between styles. I would recommend this for anyone with a jeep or truck that is looking for some bump. This is just about as loud as a sealed 10 inch Audiobahn + 300 watt Pioneer amp system I used to have in my dodge ram.
If this review is still up going forward it means that I have had no issues with the build quality and the amp is still running.

I just installd this into my 19 foot boat which already had a Sony Xplod head unit and 4 good speakers. The head unit had a Low Pass Filter which turns out to be absolutely necessary and has rear terminals for a sub/amp speaker out. The bass on the boat is outstanding, the 10" was the right choice.

There are a few small minuses. The install kit that comes with it is poor, I also purchased a 10 Guage BOSS install kit and used those speaker/coax wires instead of the junk that came with the speaker. Another minus was the wire harness that came with the speaker, I would rather have each wire (power, ground, remote control)seperate and connect with a screw down terminals. Basiclly the harness is junk and I had to solder the wires into the harness to get them to stay hooked up. Be prepared to splice somewire for the ground and to also splice the remote wire for install.

The process is very basic and all you need is a pair of crimpers, some heat shrink tubing and some extra wire terminal-ends you will have to install to all wires. I additionally soldered all of the connections. The install took me less than 2 hours and I am very happy with the sound.

I needed a small subwoofer and amp for my girlfriend's car and wanted something that would be easy to install (not take up to much room). This was a great buy, you would not be able to find a sub and amp of this quality for the price anywhere, and you would have to pay almost double. I am a huge fan of MTX and stand behind their products; I have only had this running for a week so hopefully the quality is solid. The only small problem I see with this product was the connection type, instead of a normal terminal block it has a 3 prong Molex connector that is pre-wired so you do not have much flexibility. The main reason I left this review is because at the time it's the only one so to let others know it's a solid product.

I read good reviews on this sub stating that it adds some bottom end to your sound, but not much in the thump area. I was ok with this as all I wanted was a little more bottom end from my system. The output of this amp is not much to be desired, however. It is hardly noticeable while on the road. It helps that I can fold my rear seat down at times, but that just doesn't seem like a good solution for getting better sound. Spend a little more and get the Fosgate solution.

This speaker will not rattle your car if that is what you are looking for, but it will definitely fill in any gaps if your system just seems to be missing a little thump. It uses up very little space, and I have it in the trunk of my Mitsubishi Lancer. When I really want some extra bass, I drop the back seat and face the speaker away (towards the back.) This seems to provide the best output.

Been using it for about 10 months with no issues.

Put this in a 1992 Chevy extended cab 1500 pick up.It has just the right amount of bass for what I listen to.Sabbath,Ozzy,Kiss etc..The Bass is pretty tight and not boomy. If you want boomy, look elsewhere.Had to repair the connector that plugs into the back of the amp.The power wire was not crimped into the connector.Minor problem, fixed in minutes....All in all I think it
is a great buy for the money.Time will tell how long it lasts. But for now ...It is pretty awesome....

After reading the reviews on this I was excited to add to my factory system to add a little more bass but not so much that it rattled the car. So I thought this would be a great addition. Once I got this installed and I adjusted the bass gain and crossover it is exactly what I was looking for. It will not give rattle the car or make your heart stop. However it gets the job done if you're just looking to add some extra bass in your system.
