I bought this computer because it is wireless and you can see MPH, odometer and time all at the same time. The wireless works well. I question the accuracy of the computer. It seems off at high speeds. Also, the readout has a 3-4 second delay. So when you change speeds, the computer takes a few seconds to update the display. My wired cateye does not seem to have this problem. For a serious competitor, I think you would want to spend a little more. But for recreational biking it works fine.

Vetta 288L Computer April 17, 2010
This computer worked well for one set of batteries. The one exception is the auto-on function which never worked.

After the first battery change (transmitter and receiver at the same time) the computer did not work as long. Upon subsequent changes the computer did not work at all. It would either not pick up the transmitter at all or read, at best, inacurately.

I came across it again while shopping for a replacement (Cateye) and decided to write this review. Buy something else.

Had a hard time to decide among this, the VDO (no backlight) and a Cateye (don't like the design). Mounting was relatively easy, although not everything is always parallel as you can expect. Working fine, and as I don't exect to ride off-road, I think I can trust the mounting. Like the design a lot, specially the black with the transparent cover....

Unit goes well although attachment to the bike is a little average. The wireless unit connection to the front fork does not allow for the variable gap between spokes and fork. Read more

Don't buy this cycling computer

Good stuff
The product is outstanding. The installation instructions are as you would expect... not thorough! But I love it anyway.
