I simply could not put this book down! Everything about it is amazing; characters, situations, action, adventure, romance, erotic passages! The writer has created characters and scenes that are so memorable! They just stay with you! I cannot wait to find out what happens next in Deke Wolfson's incredible life! WOW!!!
When is Book Two coming? Save me a copy!

Thoughtful, Profound and Incredibly Readable,
This review is from: RUIN, Book One: The Tent City (Perfect Paperback)
From the first line of Ruin, I was hooked. This is the kind of story that stays with you long after you finish the book. And I finished it in two sittings! I particularly loved the manhood ritual but I won't say any more about the story because I don't want to spoil it for you! What I will say is that all of the characters feel like flesh and blood; they come to life immediately. I read this book because a friend gave it to me, demanding I read it right away. I had never heard of Isobel Noble before, but I will be stunned if this book isn't a bestseller and its author isn't famous before the new year is out!

I've never reviewed a book before, but I loved this one so much I felt compelled to write one! If you liked 'Clan of The Cave Bear' then you'll probably love this book. It has it all...wonderful characters, tribal/nomadic living, spirits, medicine women & great love stories (with some steamy scenes!). I just really enjoyed reading this book and didn't want it to end. I must see if the next one is available yet.

INCREDIBLE READ!,

This review is from: RUIN, Book One: The Tent City (Perfect Paperback)
I never read anything like this; from the first page I was hooked. There are so many original things I don't know where to start. What a story! I don't think there's ever been a book written about a boy being raised as a Native American sorcerer as well as a soldier; at least, I've never seen one, and I've been reading action-adventure, sci-fi/fantasy all my life. My God, this kid can become invisible at will by going between moments of existence & reality!
I understand there's going to be a second book coming out soon; when? |
