We prefer taking our RV to state parks and COE parks and this book will speed the process of figuring out where the next closest state park is for us. We don't make advanced reservations while traveling, preferring to just take our chances. It's nice to have the information for each park in an easy to locate form.

This is a reasonably complete listing of State Parks, but adds little in terms describing attractions and nothing in terms of describing quality of facilities. It is basically a compilation of material available on the internet.This book may offer convenience for the non-connected traveller, but not a basis for comparative choices between parks. Not Recommended.
