I use this bits on a 1619 bosch plunging router. The have been outstanding.

You can forget the need for sanding, these leave a planer like finish. The instructions are pretty much useless but hey it's just changing bearings. The only way i could possible think to make these better would be to stamp the size on the bears.

I haven't ruined a cut yet and if god help me i hit a nail tomorrow.I would buy them again.

These were my first whiteside bits and I'm going back for more.

I purchased this bit from Laguna Tools through Amazon. I used free shipping and still received it within 5 days. The bit set itself is excellent and a terrific value over purchasing bits and bearing separately. I used the bit within a few days of receiving it at found it to give excellent results. I don't think you can go wrong with this one.

I'm all for a revival of Made in USA products. Not true that US made products are always expensive; even so, it is still worth it and often times you get what you pay for. This product is certainly not the most expensive but worth every penny in performance. I used it on my router table using only a 2-1/2 hp router. It cuts rabbets as if the workpiece (hardwood) I was working on was pine. Very precise, clean cuts and the bits are easy to install and remove. The instruction couldn't have been more clear. Great product.

I'm very pleased with my investment in this set, a clear case of you get what you pay for with Whiteside. It cuts very smoothly as another reviewer mentioned, and the bearings are likewise smooth as glass without any sticking. Every time I've bought Whiteside, I've been pleased. Fine Woodworking magazine periodically does router bit reviews and Whiteside has always done very well to my memory.

I used this bit with a bosch 1617 router. This is my 2nd set of whiteside bits. They work just as well as the set of plywood dadoes I bought.
Cuts are smooth, no need to sand afterwards.
I had a bit of trouble trying to take the screw out to separate the bearings when I opened the package. Had to lock the bit in the router and hold the shank with a wrench to loosen it for the first time. Once I used the bit and removed it from the router I had to put it back to remove the bearing again as it was too tight. Maybe it's just me.
Other than that, it's definitely a great investment.
Made my first bookshelf project a wonderful experience.
