"To me, religions are like languages: no language is true or false; all languages are of human origin; each language reflects and shapes the civilization that speaks it; there are things you can say in one language that you cannot say or say as well in another; and the more languages you learn, the more nuanced your understanding of life becomes. Judaism is my mother tongue, yet in matters of the spirit I strive to be multi-lingual. In the end, however, the deepest language of the soul is silence. - Rabbi Rami Shapiro

Packed neatly into a relatively small number of pages is the most liberating book I've had the pleasure of reading for a very long time. Rabbi Rami's insights and delightful sense of humor have brought me back for a third reading! I also got two copies for friends. Well done and thanks!

This little book shifted my thinking about forgiveness. Plus it is enjoyable reading. The author is a Rabbi, but the book is not just from a Jewish perspective. Rami is a student of many religions and is "spiritually independent".

You can preview the book on Amazon and decide if the price is worth it. What would you pay for an "aha" moment? What would you pay for insights that might lift the burden of forgiveness? Yes, it is now pricey because it is apparently out of print, and you should know that it is more of a pamphlet than a book. If you buy books for insights, meaningful stories, and wisdom this book might make your day.

There is a lot of valuable insights here for the Christian counsellor, even if it was written by a rabbi.
