Editorial Reviews

ETCH Magazine

"Powerful yet disturbing, peaceful yet violent. Disturbing, beautiful, and frightening, all in one savage assault."

Product Description

Of course, this is not an album about rabbits; it is an album about sex. Rabbit sparkles with a glam rock aesthetic delivered with straightforward garage attitude.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't find this on the radio, May 24, 2011

I probably prefer Straplight but when it comes to Billy Nayer there are a few things on every album which make them well worth the money for me. They live somewhere between nursery rhymes and the liquid nightmares of Buwkoski. However the always engaging voice of Cory McAbee makes this marriage disturbingly appealing. If you like music which is like nothing you have heard before this is it. Woven from the trash heap of lost and forgotten cords a multicolored cloth springs forth. Wrap it around your head and jump down the rabbit hole.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rabbit, December 2, 2008

This is my first Billy Nayer album. If you are intrigued by oddities, spend $9 and listen to it yourself. It is well worth it. Its quality talent in a refreshingly bizarre listen.
