Forget the photo books--this little paperback is the winner! The sketches aren't always exactly proportional, but they're cute and the text is hilarious.
Each two pages contain a behavior description and opposing sketch; there are about 30 of these pairs. It will teach you some things about rabbit behavior and the description at the end of what owning a rabbit entails is SPOT ON--no rabbit guide will describe it better. However, don't expect to read this cute book and be all ready to own a bunny. It's just for fun.

My personal favorite was,

Behavior
Rubbing chin on things, such as houseplants, priceless armoires, Italian leather shoes.

What it means
A great misconception: It does NOT mean marking territory. It is a rabbit custom, like saying grace before a meal. In short, "One day I will eat you."

What you should do
Give your bunny more sticks and branches, keep your stuff off the floor, and kiss the antiques goodbye.

This book is cute. It is rather short and not very informative, but it is entertaining. Don't purchase it if you are looking to educate yourself on rabbit behavior. If you are looking for a light read, this is perfect.

My wife and I, who have 2 rabbits, found this book to be very accurate and amusing. This book talks about different behavioral patterns of rabbits, and what they mean. I recommend this for anybody who gets a new bunny for a household pet.

The author has spent 20 years living with rabbits, and her experience clearly shows. I knew about a lot of the things that she explained, but she definitely filled us in on some areas of bunny behavior that we were in the dark about.

The color illustrations are excellent!

As a rabbit owner I know that the way our little beasties act isn't always as clear to use like it might be with another type of pet. This book gave me a good giggle as I found myself nodding all the way through it. If your furball is giving you the "I'm so sad and lonely and no one has ever fed me," sort of face, the only answer is to remove your coat, give them treats and stay home forever. I wish this book was longer and thought it was very cute. It was a nice birthday gift from my husband (among other rabbit related books!).

This book is a fun book, but is not an in depth guide into rabbit behavior. I think it's a perfect stocking stuffer for anyone who has a rabbit.

I gave this as a gift to a friend who has an indoor pet rabbit. She said it made her laugh and also gave her insight into some of "Bea's" behavior.

Carolyn R. Crampton's "Rabbit Language" book is so adorable! If you own a pet rabbit, you will smile all the way through this darling book! Her descriptions of bunny behavior are hilarious...and so true! And the book's graphic design and illustrations will just melt your bunny-loving heart!

This is a fun book for people already familiar with rabbit behavior; you'll find yourself chuckling at the author's experiences because you'll know exactly what she's talking about. I wouldn't recommend it as a behavioral guide for a new rabbit owner - you'll still enjoy it, but as entertainment, rather than as a scientific resource.

Having a number of house rabbits, I can appreciate the statements and observations in this book. I've seen better books about rabbits, but this one is fun and cute.

Love the illustration and descriptions in the book though my interpretation of some movement is slightly different from the author

Cute illustrations. Very accurate (had a pet bunny for 7-1/2 years!). Used this as a gift for current pet owner.
