4.0 out of 5 stars Tastes like chicken!!, January 3, 2002
By Liz Dodson (Maryland) - See all my reviews
My kids had the hardest time finding information on raising meat rabbits for a project, and we found this book at the library. We are buying it because it has the best descriptions and directions for raising meat rabbits from cage to pot. Last week was the first time our family tasted rabbit, and it was great!!

My nine year old neutered rabbit gives this book a "paws down" and asks people not to raise domestic rabbit for dinner in the USA.
Remember to neuter your pets.

1.0 out of 5 stars this is an outrage, January 31, 2001
the perpetrators of this book should be ashamed of themselves! there is no creature on earth as loveable and inoffensive as the bunny rabbit. why not a book on cooking the family dog? outrageous indeed!
