Twenty four years after Indian Bunny the author comes back strong with another sweet book appropriate for all ages. The artwork is wonderful, the story simple yet archetypal and the magic has not dissipated. Do not spoil the surprise by telling your kids, but the secret of the book is spring - the season of renewal. I have read this book to my rabbit, and he likes it or at least is calmed by my tone of voice reading the book. Kids would enjoy it as well. No book by RLB is a waste of money.

This is an excellent book to show children the excitement of the start of spring. The rabbit goes on a journey because he thinks someone is calling him, and then realizes what all the activity means...Spring. Children from 3-6 will love this book, and there are many extention activities teachers could do with this happy srpring book.
