The accompaniment can make or break a solo instrumental album, and, with Frankie Gavin and Alec Finn, this is one of the best I've heard.
Paddy Glackin was the Bothy Band's first fiddler, and this album show clearly why they wanted him. In his own work, Donal Lunny tends to rely rather too much on electronics for my taste; but here he's just perfect, playing driving bouzouki most of the time and interjecting a touch of synthesizer just here and there. The total time is 43'01".

Paddy Glackin is highly recomanded to all fans of true Irish/Celtic music toppers. Even he is joined by his friends on every track, he shows sensitivity and energy of irish fiddle, and in some cases sounds a lot more efectivlly then somtimes whole groups can do. Highly recomanded for all aristocrat lovers of Irish sounds. Five + stars.
