I am glad I waited for this re-release of Watain's great debut! The Bonus track, "The Essence of Black Purity" (from the 7" demo) is a great addition.Watain, in my opinion, are flying the flag for true "death metal", a la Dissection's first two albums. Brilliant, blasphemous and blasting!

I used to own the orginal version of this cd and quite frankly the sound quality sucked so when i saw that Seasons of Mist was remastering this its Watains first full length release i jumped on it.First of all the sound is much better and they added a bonus track .For fans of Black Metal this is a must have Watain is one of the best at their craft in the world,these guys live for this no trendies here only true black metal.
