My cooking was about limited to pre-mix pancakes until I got this book. Easy to follow recipes, and outrageously yummy results, these meals truly are racing fuel. I am a bike racer, and this food keeps me fueled up on long rides, facilitates recovery and even makes my family happy. After about 3 weeks of using these recipes, and adhering to the general nutrition advice, I actually felt stronger and had more energy. IMO, a must-have for endurance athletes. Kudos to the A-Town authors!

I own too many cookbooks, and this one I could have done without in a heartbeat. If you are accustomed to routinely adding products like wheat germ, chia seeds, flaxseeds, etc. to your cooking, skip this book.

Loved the recipes and can't wait to try a bunch of them out. The low-fat snacks towards the back of the book are delicious and for the most part calorie-savers. LOVE this cook-book! Vol. II coming soon?
