Product Description

Wheel Cribs are a safe, lightweight alternative to jack stands. They cradle the tire 8", 10", or 12" off the ground (depending on the model), providing unobstructed access underneath the car. Each crib supports 1,500 pounds (3,000 pounds per set) and weighs only 5 pounds. Using 8" or 10" Wheel Cribs in conjunction with 56" or 67" Race Ramps allows your car to be level while raised—useful for changing your oil, for example. Wheel Cribs also can be used for car display and are available in custom sizes.

My Evo MR's front lip is extremely low even on stock suspension! I could not make it up other ramps so I bought a set of the 10" race ramps. These wheel cribs make it easy to put all 4 wheels up in the air if you need to do work throughout the bottom of your car, like transmission or exhaust work.

I highly recommend it, just make sure you get a jack that will get your car high up enough for the 10" ones, if not, go for the 8" cribs and ramps!

These wheel cribs are fantastic way to block your car up. They are light weight, and each one has a strap for carrying or hanging the crib up off of the floor when not in use. I bought the 10 inch cribs. The cribs have a saddle for the tire to fit into. It looks like a 10-12 inch wide tire will fit into the saddles with no problem. Good product.

I've had previous experience with the Race Ramp products. I have a set of the ramps that I used on a lowered vehicle and they work great. The wheel cribs are of the same quality as the ramps: rugged, slip-proof, etc. The only problem is that I don't have a jack that lifts the vehicle high enough to use them. I assumed that one of the 4 hydraulic jacks I own would have worked, but they didn't. So, I really haven't had the chance to use the wheel cribs. But I'm sure they will work just fine once I get my equipment issues straightened out.

Previously I purchased the 67" two piece Race Ramps with extenders so my Corvette Grand Sport would be able to clear the approach. After a few months of use for oil changes and such I decided I wanted to get the cribs for the rear, for easy access under the whole car on a creeper. These work great, and I will probably put the car on them over the winter to help avoid flat spots in the tires since they are arched. These are also very light and easy to store like the other Race Ramp products when you are not using them, which is very nice. I store them on the top shelf of a 72" tall rack in my garage and they are a breeze to store and remove. Heavier ramps would not be as easy and I would likely need to find a less "out of the way" place to store them.

I know a lot of people complain about the price of Race Ramps and in some cases it's justified. I had a lift in the past and can't see doing it again until I have more than a 3 car garage, so the ramps are a good alternative for me. If you've invested in Race Ramps already, I believe these are a good addition.
