breathtaking,

An incredible album... boa is undoubtably one of the most amazing bands of all time, how it's possible that the entire world doesn't know who they are is well beyond me. I'm not generally a fan of much besides punk (and it's close relatives), but boa defies any standard set in music. The songs are touching, and simultaniously energizing and relaxing. It's perfect for almost any occasion, before you go to bed, while driving, or while painting... you have to hear this to believe it.The only regret I have with this album is that it doesn't include Little Miss, which is one of my favorite boa songs.... of course almost all of boa's songs are favorites of mine... but still, if you can find Twilight, it's got all of the songs on this album in addition to Drinking, Little Miss, and the acoustic version of Duvet... and it's usually cheaper too since Twilight is a North American release instead of Japanese. Notwithstanding that... boa is FABULOUS! No matter what you like, this cd is amazing!

This album is a rare jewel. I first heard Boa when watching Serial Experiments Lain, the song "Duvet" was the theme. ...The singer has a beautiful voice, deep, soulful. The songs have a sad tinge to them....They also have an air of fantasy and mystery. The instrumental parts of the songs are superb as well, aslow cascade of melodies and rhythms. This music I guess would be labelled as Alternative Rock.. but without the usual mainstream sound that usually implies. And it's excellent mood music for when you want to draw :)

A trully Masterpiece that nobody knows!,

This is trully a great album. I don't know very much about this artist, and i was only planing to write a review when i knew something more. Neverthless, i had to write, so you could have a slight image of the great album that "Race of a Thousand Camels" is! Duvet, Twilight, One day and Fool are just great! as they are all! Boa has a very deeply voice, and the music is an alternate rock, with an acoustic guitar producing a sound so addictive... this is a great album for those who like bands that want to be out of the teen-pop age, and want to make real music. If you like bands like K's Choice i think you will love this as i did.

Wow...,

I just got this CD a couple of weeks ago, and I am astonished. This CD has a pop-rock mixed with blues sound that is completely addicting.
When I first got the CD, it was pretty mediocre. Of course, I left town for a few days and was left without the CD, and when I put it back in the CD player, I was stuck. Jasmine Rogers' voice is one of the most beautiful I have heard, and it goes wonderfully with the mellow, sober sound of the CD. The music has a very mature sound to it. There isn't anything too fast or too slow, everything seems to just go at a very calm, smooth speed without being boring. While I initially bought the CD because of the song 'Duvet,' I can honestly say that even though it is an excellent song, most of the other songs on the CD are actually better than it. Even though it is expensive, I would say that it is worth the money.

Boa is amazing,

The songs Deeply, Duvet, and Fool are my fave on this album. I like Boa's new alternatvie rock sound. It's good that they strayed from pop for a while. It's an invigorating ride into music. I was in my art class and my friend asked me to put the cd on. Everyone loved it! It's quick pased then slow....if you like bands like Furslide, K's Choice, and Darling Violetta, this is the band's album for you.

mere "MeRe": this isn't the same "boa." the BoA you're referring to is a korean pop singer, who cannot even come close to this band's talent.
great band, beautiful sound.

I got the CD for the 'Duvet', which is the title song of 'Serial Experiments Lain' (of course). Interestingly the other songs on the disk are best compared to the style of 'Artifical Joy Club/Melt' (ASIN: B000001Y44) than to 'Duvet'. Which is nice.
