    1. Walk On The Wild Side For his first event, an LA philanthropist hires Marcel to cater an elaborate event to increase awareness for the Wildlife Waystation, an animal refuge and sanctuary based in Los Angeles. Marcel and his team strive to create an amazing safari-themed party with animals and their habitats serving as inspiration. The spectacular menu includes an edible map, Bird's Eye Surprise (a 'mozzarella balloon' inside a potato nest), an elaborate edible landscape and 'Himalayan Tiger's Breath' with liquid nitrogen. The party is brought to life at a beautiful estate with actual exotic animals in various themed-rooms.

    2. Rules Of Engagement Molecular gastronomist Marcel Vigneron is hired to create an unforgettable engagement party for high school sweethearts, Gregg and Karen, who are reunited after 30 years. The clock is ticking and the pressure is on as Marcel and his team experiment in his test kitchen to make the menu come to life. Marcel tackles 'form mimicking' when he attempts to transform watermelon into ahi tuna for a truly distinctive hearts of palm salad. Other items on the menu include a surf and turf trio, noodles made solely from red wine and edible engagement rings. As the party approaches, Marcel engages in a power struggle with the demanding party planner, Summer, leaving everyone to wonder, who will come out on top?

I'm a big fan of Top Chef, and Marcel happened to be one of my favorite chefs in Season 2. I didn't suspect he'd end up with his own reality show after losing the title to Ilan.

This reality show Marcel has brought to us is very interesting. You get to know Marcel's personality in depth. He's actually not the "bad guy" everyone kept on saying he was. There's also lots of interesting cooking techniques he uses to make really visually appealing foods with his "quantum physics" style of cooking.

I would have to say there's also a lot of creative things aspiring chefs could learn from Marcel's Quantum Kitchen. There's both fascinating, new cooking techniques that I'm very sure most chefs would enjoy to watch and learn. I myself am not a chef, but I'm really hooked on this TV series.

This show has been a pleasure to watch, and I recommend it to those who enjoy food, and/or like to watch creative ways of food being made. Give Marcel's Quantum Kitchen a go, it's well worth it.

This is an entertaining and informative show, but could be better. It seems slower paced than other reality cooking shows. The show focuses and spends plenty of time on the planning the menu and talking with clients. I prefer seeing the chefs prepare and cook the food. The chefs/cooks do not have the warm or engaging personality found with other celebrity chefs and thier crews. Nor does it have the intense conflict found in bake-/cook-offs.
