"Race you to bed," cries the fuzzy bunny staring straight at the reader. This race may seem like a simple dash up stairs, but it quickly develops into a wildly imaginative marathon. Clanging cymbals and banging pots are only the beginning. Computer-assisted illustrations fill the pages with a wealth of textures, from crisp metallic bells to effervescent bubbles and the airbrushed fuzziness of the fearless bunny. Of course, the competitor in this race is the child reading the book. Bunny's frantic antics wind down to a snack and a drink, a bath, a toothbrush, and a book--just like a real child's bedtime routine. The amusing ending will bring a smile to both the sleepy child and the read-aloud grownup.

My son loves it and it is so much fun to read for him (over and over and over ;) )

Kids love the book. Found a Youtube video of it and the kids thought it was fun. So bought this book and Bob Shea's others. Excellent choice 2-5 years old.

my 4.5 y.o daughter adores this book! Loves the surprise ending. Illustrations are adorable.

The pictures in this book are cheerful, clean and exceptionally stylish. The words flow easily and are fun to read. A joyful & smart before-bedtime read. Also although there is a cute bunny on the cover, I like how the images were really evenly weighted towards what a boy and a girl might enjoy. Although the adorable fluffy bunny is the star, there's lots of vehicles and animals and a color scheme that doesn't skew too far one way or the other. I really appreciate that and so do kids who can all feel this is a book for them.

Bob Shea is really strong and smart. Dogs and babies like him. This book is fantastic, cleverly written and a must for bedtime stories.

I just purchased this book and my little boy absolutely loves it. I've read it to him at least 30 times already. The illustrations are fantastic as well. It's definitely worth ordering.
