Not worth the money,
This review is from: Racer's Guide to Fabricating Shop Equipment No. S145 (Paperback)
...The publication is outdated and shows how to make items that are available for much less from discounters like Harbor Freight or Great Northern. The only plan that may be useful is the flame cutter and the brake but the brake sells for about 300 bucks and there are plans available for all these on the internet. Save your money

If, like the previous reviewer, you are satisfied with the crap that Horror Freight passes off as tooling, you are probably better off saving your money. If you work from this book and take a little care, you can have equipment that is higher quality, and the pride that goes along with having built it yourself. Not all of the tools are prefect, but they do work as advertised and you'll learn a lot in making them which can be applied to the projects you built them for in the first place. If I have a criticism of the book, it is that it is written as a set of step by step instructions (i.e. cut this piece to this length, then weld these two pieces together using xxxx welding rod at yyy amps...). This probably helps somebody who hasn't ever built much, but for those used to reading blueprints and drawings, it is a bit cumbersome. But at least there are plenty of pictures to help fill in the gaps.
