This is a nice cast iron pan by the Rachael Ray line of products. The orange enamel exterior and silicone handle add a nice touch and complement our other Rachael Ray cookware. My only concern is that we have a ceramic cooktop. I've read that using cast iron on ceramic cooktops is not recommended because the high heat produced can cause cracks or even shatter the cooktop. I'm wondering if this is true so if anyone can add to the review, I'd be interested in what you have to say. Overall, this is a great cast iron pan, and definitely one of the nicest we've used.

I love this cast iron skillet! It maintains heat and meat cooks evenly. I can fry and bake in the same skillet so it is convenient as well. I had a difficult time finding this product in stores but luckily checked Amazon and bought it and had it shipped free!

Has been a great pan for frying or in oven. Like the heat proof handle. Eggs still stick some, but not what I bought the pan for anyway....

I've had the best fried chicken and burgers in this skillet, along with steaks and stroganoff and pretty much anything I cook I make in this skillet. I've had no problem with food sticking, though I do keep it oiled regularly. Once I cook in it, I just wash it out with hot water, lightly grease it and set it in the oven at like 200 degrees to dry and absorb the oil which I think helps prevent food from sticking. Definitely not to go in the dishwasher! Versatile, durable, and a great overall purchase.

I was terribly disappointed in this skillet. Everything sticks! I am now trying to get it to the point it doesn't stick by rubbing it with oil. I watch Rachel every day .. what does she do to her pans? My recommendation .. Don't Buy!
