Very disappointed November 1, 2010

I bought this pan in April and I loved it! I was always very careful I never put it in the dishwasher or used high heat. Then the other day I was using it and the bottom of the pan chipped then a few days later the inside of the pan chipped. So now I have an $80 pan that is worthless!

Practical November 7, 2010
I have only had my pan for about two months and I so hope that what happened to the previous reviewer's pan does not end up happening to mine. Though I will say the enamel on the outside of my RR 10" Everyday Cast-Iron pan did chip after just a couple of uses. As for this pan, however, I really enjoy cooking in it. It's such a nice looking pan I leave it out on my stovetop and cleaning it is a snap; I use a non-scratch pad for stubborn stains. It's a true everyday pan in my kitchen as I use it for risotto, sauteeing, cooking down greens, browning, etc.....My only con is that it has a 4-Quart capacity, which is just not large enough for a lot of the soups, stews, and "stoups" that I make. I'll just have to break out the dutch oven for those I suppose. I do think the price on this pan is a little absurd! For the same amount if not a little more I would recommend getting the 7qt dutch oven.
