From Rachael Ray’s hard-anodized line of cookware, the elongated grill pan’s grooved cooking surface replicates the coveted stripes of an outdoor grill on bratwurst and tofu dogs. The grooves also facilitate effortless burger flipping while the meat’s run-off juices collect in between the raised ridges. The oval pan’s hard-anodized aluminum construction distributes even heat while deflecting dents, corrosion, and general wear and tear. The nonstick coating on the pan’s interior enables greater ease while cooking and cleaning. To steady the pan while cooking or to remove it from the burner, a handle is securely riveted to the cookware’s side. An orange silicone rubber sleeve on the handle provides a comfortable grip while the sleeve also can sustains temperatures up to 400 degrees F in the oven. For enhanced storage options, the handle end offers a pre-installed hanging hole. Wash the pan by hand while avoiding abrasive pads and cleansers to preserve the nonstick treatment. A limited lifetime warranty covers this item. Made in China, the grill pan measures 18 by 15-1/3 by 4-3/5 inches and weighs 2-4/5 pounds upon shipping.

I absoultely love this pan. Food does not stick(I use EVOO spray) and it's a quick clean in the sink. My only advice is DO NOT put this in the dishwasher. The bottom will start to turn sliver. Also if you scratch with a fork or sharp object, it will start to turn a rusty color overtime when using a dishwasher. Use a spatula and wash in the sink. Yes, this is my second one due to not listening to the instructions. NO Dishwasher. After owning one month, still looks brand new. One more helpful advice is when washing make sure food isn't trapped underneath the inside edge of the two handle screws. Hope this helps...
Update 5-22-09: Just wanted to let you know the pan is still in perfect condition. I eventually went ahead and bought the whole set around Christmas time for a really great price. All pieces still look brand new. By the way, we do use one or two pans atleast 5-6 days a week.

I bought the pan because I was in the market for a griddle type pan, and I was really interested in the new oval shapes in cookware. I enjoy Rachael Ray's show and follow quite a few of her recipes, and that orange trim really caught my eye, so I bought it.
Other than the fact that I wish the handle were on the shorter end rather than centered at the widest point, (because maneuvering can be tricky unless you have a huge rangetop), I'm pleased with the way it cooks. I'm lucky enough with a large enough kitchen that I can leave it out, because it's rather eye-catching, (I bought the saute' pan too, with the lid) and I find myself using it more and more often. It's great for searing. I made wonderful porkchops last night. I recommend it if you don't want to spend a fortune, but still want those nice grill marks in a pan.

I bought this pan about 5-6 months ago. I decided to wait and allow myself to use it alot before I reviewed it. I am definately satisfied with it. It truly is a wonderful NONSTICK pan! Its a breeze to clean, no scrubbing! It cooks beautifully too! I love this pan, i only bought one because i didnt want to buy the whole set if I wasnt going to be happy with it, but now im surely going to add to it and make it a collection! The only con i might have about it, is that its a little heavy, but thats what a quality pan would feel like right :)
