In terms of design, it’s definitely a more modern style, but it works.

I got the plates in and I love the look and feel of the plates.

The problem is that I have them for roughly a week now and have eaten on them maybe 3-4 times. We have had pasta almost every night (not cutting steaks or meat on them) and they already have a bunch of fine gray scratches on the plate surface. I would post pictures because you can see how scratched up they are, but this review doesn't give that option. This is not a deal breaker for me, but its kind of annoying. These plates are only a week old and look like I've been eating on them for years.

Don't think I would recommend them to one of my friends.

These dishes are sturdier than I expected when I ordered them. They were well-packed in three separate boxes so they arrived with no breakage. The Rachael Ray “Circles and Dots Stoneware 16-Piece Dinnerware” has a lovely warm, rustic design and these dishes are ideal for every-day use or informal occasions. Versatile, easy to clean, dishwasher and microwave safe (read care instructions carefully). The set includes four dinner plates, eight-inch salad plates, four cereal bowls, and four mugs. Highly recommend!!

This dinnerware set was much more attractive to me once I got it on the table. I currently have decorations in gold's and crèmes in my dining room and when I put this dinnerware out it went perfectly. I was amazed at how the colors just seemed to work. The plates are more of a crème color with soft yellow, gray and steel-blue, brown and olive green accents. Somehow they work well together. The cups took some getting used to ( I was not initially that found of the design). The salad plates each have a different design and the bowls, cups and dinner plates all have a uniform design. Each piece is ceramic and hand painted and they are also dishwasher safe. I have enjoyed using them and somehow they seem to match most of my table settings.

Good Looking and stylish with a rustic feel, these Rachel Ray stoneware provide a nice addition.

My wife immediately liked this set. Out of the box, we washed them up and laid them out for our Thanksgiving meal. We have a long, wooden table, and a dining room painted up and decorated like a Tuscan stone farmhouse.

The dishes have a nice weight to them with a raised inlay, individually, unique designs and a solid finish. They're simple and understated. They advertise "hand painted". I always wonder how that goes on. They're made in China. Well worth the cost if the style suits you like it does us. Microwaveable and dishwasher safe.

k here is the deal. I got these cause I thought they were cute and I wanted another set besides my Rachel Ray little hoot set. However when recieved it there were 3 broken dishes already. Not a big deal amazon sent out a new set. Good thing I still hd the other one cause the new set had one broken dish. Thankfully a different one then what was already broken. I should have known then it would be a problem. I am the most careful person in the world with my dishes I do not even let my stepson use the cereal bowls to eat cereal (I bought him his own bowl) however it didn't help all my salad plates are chipped except one! One little hit against another dish and it chipped right away. I have 3 other Rachael Ray sets that have lasted me for years without one chip. I guess given that it's stoneware doesn't last very long. If you're going to get Rachel Ray get one of her other sets that is not stoneware. The stoneware just doesn't last.

For someone just starting out in their own kitchen, this is a useful set because it is stoneware and should handle all the rigors of microwave, oven, and freezer. I say should, because I noticed there were tiny places where the glaze did not completely coat around the handles of the cups. I also found that a couple of the cups I got had sharp bumps sticking up on the handles, making it uncomfortable to hold for very long. I'm concerned that the spotty application of glaze might make a cup less stable when heating beverages in the microwave.
Otherwise, the pattern of circles with inset dots on the plates and bowls is in soothing muted earth tones, and the whole set can fit easily on one shelf in even a small apartment's cabinet.

I love Rachael Ray Cooking products I have some of her cookware and they are very high quality for a low cost, so I knew this Dinnerware would be very high quality as well and I was right in my assumption. The Rachael Ray Dinnerware has a very stylish pattern and the colors are perfect for the trendy earth tone kitchens that are popular now.

The Dinnerware is nice and thick and won't easily chip in your dishwasher. The set is so pretty that I want to just leave it on display so everyone can admire it. Photos don't do this collection justice because it is much more attractive out of the box.

Perfect for your kitchen, as a housewarming gift, or wedding gift whatever you decide to do with them they will be greatly appreciated and I love them for my home.
