I purchased this mezzaluna for my husband. It works incredibly well, we love it for cutting up fresh herbs. What makes it good also makes it dangerous. It's incredibly sharp blades have no permanent cover. My husband and I have both cut ourselves handling it.

I bought this for my daughter-in-law for Christmas and she said she loved it. It does a great job especially when chopping herbs. The wooden cutting board is good quality and easy to clean. It's a keeper!

I bought this for a friends birthday and she loves it! Great for chopping nuts, herbs, and even salads! Her grandkids think it's adorable too and it gets them interested and excited to cook! Blades are very sharp too!

I saw this and just had to have it. I love the color and the cutting board is of good quality. The blades are super sharp, so beware. After using the Froggy, I found I prefer cutting herbs and ect with a good chef knife. It is easier to control where the blade is going. I'm thinking of getting a traditional Mezzaluna with only one blade instead. It would be nice if this came with something to store the blades in. The plastic covers that it came with are easily cut through, and don't last. By storing it in a drawer, with no covers, the blades are sure to get dull quickly.

Amazing! I love it! Works like a dream! The duo blades really help in the ease of use. I have used it to chop chocolate, herbs, garlic, vegetables, with just 30-60 seconds of work going back and forth, done! I highly recommend this product for any cook that regularly chops and/or minces. It is wonderful!!!!

I love this mezzaluna chopper. The blades are really sharp and the handle is easy to grip. I'm using more herbs than I ever used before now that I can really mince them without having to get out an electric chopper of some kind. My only problem is trying to clean in between the blades. I just make sure to clean it immediately after use so the food wipes and washes off more easily.

My loverboy bought this for me for Christmas. I thought I wanted it because I love all of my other rachael stuff. I have found that the blades are so far a part that the onions that I chop get stuck between the VERY SHARP BLADES. Which you then have to stop and pull them out. I was hoping this would help with letting my daughter chop for me since she wants to help and I don't want to let her use a normal knife. I think this might be more dangerous. Also, the chop board is so small I Really couldn't chop comf. on it. I would either stick to choping with a knife or using a food processor (which I didn't have until now).

I both like, and dislike this product. It is very sharp, and it even cuts through raw potato like nothing. The problem is that unless you're starting with something very small, stuff gets caught between the blades and can be very difficult to get out without cutting yourself. I like it but I'm constantly afraid someone's going to get hurt while using it!

I had a friend introduce me to this little mezzaluna when she was teaching a class on salad dressing and I have been coveting it ever since. I finally odered one and was not dissappointed, I find that I break it out almost every time I cook for the convenience and speed. I haven't tried any other types of Mezzaluna choppers to compare it to but I have no complaints with this one

I bought this at Tuesday Morning, so I paid a lot less and feel I got a great bargain. The mezzaluna is very sharp and cuts well, though it is more suited to cutting small things like nuts or herbs that will not get stuck between the blades. When cutting larger things, I used the handle of a wooden spoon to clear the blades so I don't cut myself. The cutting board has an indentation to keep the food in one place. The rubber mat keep the board from sliding around if you have a smooth counter, like granite.I also kept the plastic cover for the blades so I can store it safely. The plastic thing is a little hard to get off, so I pop it off with the handle of a wooden spoon. |
