Directions
Feed your dog 1/2 to 1-1/4 cups per 3 to 12 pounds of body weight per day; 1-1/4 to 2 cups per 12 to 25 pounds of body weight per day; 2 to 3-1/2 cups per 25 to 50 pounds of body weight per day; 3-1/2 to 5-3/4 cups per 50 to 100 pounds of body weight per day; 5-3/4 cups plus 1/2 cup for every additional 12 pounds for over 100 pounds of body weight per day. Amounts are based on a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup. This chart represents average recommended daily portions. You may need to feed slightly more or less, depending on your dog's activity level and overall fitness. Be sure to provide plenty of fresh, clean water daily. Close package tightly between feedings or store product in an airtight container to maintain freshness. Weaning Puppies: Start puppies on Rachael Ray Nutrish as soon as they begin to chew on solid food, usually 3-4 weeks of age. Allow them to eat as much as they want until fully weaned (6-8 weeks of age). Growing Puppies: Puppies should be completely weaned by 6-8 weeks of age. After weaning, feed them all they want 3 times daily to 6 months of age and 2 times daily to 12 months of age. If desired, Rachael Ray Nutrish can be fed moistened. To feed moistened, mix 1/4 cup of water to 2 cups of Rachael Ray Nutrish. Adult Dogs: Adult dogs with normal activity may be fed once daily. Depending on your dog's age and activity, serving sizes may vary slightly from the recommended daily feeding guide portions. Feeding for Reproduction: Food consumption varies during gestation. Feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's ideal condition. Food intake may double or triple during lactation. Talk to your veterinarian about your dog's ideal weight and adjust your amounts accordingly. CALORIE CONTENT: Metabolizable Energy (ME) Calorie Content (calculated) 3641 kcal/kg 335 kcal/cup.

My dogs have sensitive stomachs, and I used to have to buy the "Blue Buffalo Basics" line of dog food. I recently switched to using this brand, and the dogs are having no problems! I am happy to save $20 or more a bag compared to the more expensive stuff.

Just what I needed! From going through a 6lb bag every 3 months, to now going through one weekly, my budget was taking a hit! So glad to have found this size... OK- Nutrish: I'm not going to say this is the best food on the market, but I do like it alot. My dog loves it. Ive had no problems such as gas, vomitting, or poop issues. Ive used pricier brands that seemed TOO natural in what they contained, and they did cause loose stools or gas, no matter how they were introduced or tried with. Cheaper I'd never go, but I feel that that NUTRISH beef/brown rice is a great option if you are on a budget. I consider it to be on the higher end of the affordable food options. I am judging that by the ingredients, kibble size, and experience with it, as well as how my dogs have done with it.
I'd pay more for this food, but am grateful that its priced like cheap brands of dog foods that contain crap, like corn as one of the 1st two ingredients. This product is not advertising what it is not. I did notice that when I tried the chicken for variation, my pup would pass gas and eat more than usual, two major negatives- so back to beef and rice it is. We own a 6lb chihuahua who loves his food and has been on this since he was 12 weeks and is now 3. We also got a baby chow chow who is now over 6 months and doing wonderfully on it as well. I add a teaspoon of fish oil or olive oil to their food once a week as well. I'd like if it were available in more places locally, but online at a discounted rate with free shipping works. Would recommend. It's also MADE IN THE USA, as per it's labeling, which had been a point of concern for some buyers in earlier days. Now they specified it on the bag. FYI: That I know of, Nutrish is sold locally at Stop&Shop, Walmart, and Duane Reade if youre in NY and I've only seen it in 6lb size, never this large.

My dogs love this brand of dog food but I will never buy from Amazon again. Both my dogs got sick after starting this bag. $300 in vet tests/bills later, they are on a different food and doing well.

When I first received the dog food which was in a great timely manner, because I ordered one day and it was here the next day, and I didn't pay for one day service. So, great job Amazon! My dogs only ate it for a few days and then wouldn't touch it, so I went to WalMart and bought the Rachael Rays grain free did food turkey and sweet potato flavor. Now they wont eat anything but the grain free, and I have tried and my son has tried other foods only because one of our dogs is a PitBull puppy. But even her t huh e PitBull wont eat anything but the grain free and it has to be Rachael Rays. Sorry Amazon your price is a little higher than Wal-Mart's price, but I do wish it came in a bigger bag, because the biggest is 14lbs, and they go through a bag a week. Although I am feeding four grown dogs and one puppy, could be why, so I feel the grain free by Rachael ray is really great for my dogs!

Rachel Ray's dogfood is the only brand sold in our local supermarket, 28 ibs. is a fairly new size and I couldn't be happier. My two 95 ib. golden retrievers love her dog foods both turkey and beef. Any other brand would be bought at the pet store because of the usual low quality of supermarket foods. I follow the ratings of dogfoods in our pet magazine, this is well rated. Can be bought at supermarket [or Amazon] for the convenience and price and quality. Rachel also donates her profits to rescues.
