Constructed in durable aluminum, the pots and pans resist dents and corrosion while conducting heat with efficiency. Porcelain enamel coats the exterior of each piece in the set for broad heat distribution, free of hot spots. A nonstick interior ensures hassle-free cooking and cleaning with all cookware pieces. One long aluminum handle rivets securely to the side of each skillet, the saucepans, and the sauté for transferring food to and from the burner. The long handles each have a hole installed for hanging purposes. For moving the saucepot, two loop-style aluminum handles affix to the pot's sides. Silicone rubber covers all cookware handles for a soft and ergonomically friendly grip. The cookware lids, manufactured in clear tempered glass, allow the chef to visually monitor cooking without releasing heat or flavor. The shatter-proof lids remove with top-mounted handles like those on the stockpot. The cookware sustains oven temperatures up to 400 degrees F. I have been eye balling these for quite a while. I read some of the reviews & decided to try them, actually my wife got them for me at Christmas, because she knew I wanted them, and she likes my cooking. I have been nothing but thrilled with them. My only regret is that I did not try them sooner.

I purchased this Rachael Ray cookware set less then a year ago. I love the color and I love the glass lids and the size of the pots but I whish she offered larger skillets. I right away bought the proper silacone cooking utensils but I allready am noticeing light scratchs and it looks like the nonstick surface is starting to wear off especially around the rims! I read the instruction and care book carefully and I only use silacone untensils in them and never put in the dishwasher and only use a dish cloth to wash them. So I am dissapointed in them because I don't think they will be lasting long! Just thought I would pass that on to others considering in purchasing this set. Christina Snyder
