5.0 out of 5 stars Great looking, fun, and convenient baking casserole!
I purchased the four-quart version in the vivid orange color as I wanted something noteworthy to transport and serve my holiday side dish I was taking to a dinner party. While the high handles make it a bit more difficult to fit into the oven or microwave, it did just fit into my friend's smaller-size microwave as I needed to reheat it just a bit--and it's a rather...

2.0 out of 5 stars beautiful but flawed
This baker has so much going for it that I'm crushed it's flawed! I've been admiring it for a long time and decided to take the plunge. But, the lid doesn't fit! It doesn't seal, rendering the baker useless in situations where the recipe calls for keeping the dish covered and sealed in the oven. Also, it lets leftovers dry out in the refrigerator. I'm so disappointed;...

I purchased the four-quart version in the vivid orange color as I wanted something noteworthy to transport and serve my holiday side dish I was taking to a dinner party. While the high handles make it a bit more difficult to fit into the oven or microwave, it did just fit into my friend's smaller-size microwave as I needed to reheat it just a bit--and it's a rather whimsical piece that is sure to start conversation. While it can't be used on the stovetop, the fact that it can go into the freezer, the microwave, and the oven is a big plus--and the fact that it comes with a lid made it even handier though I wrapped a sheet of foil over the top of the casserole before putting the lid on for transport. A set of the various other pieces in this range would be a great gift for a cook or a treat to add to one's own kitchen.

It doesn't seal, rendering the baker useless in situations where the recipe calls for keeping the dish covered and sealed in the oven. Also, it lets leftovers dry out in the refrigerator. I'm so disappointed; I thought Rachel Ray products would be fool proof.

This is my third piece of Rachel Ray's. I love this line. Easy to clean, great size, seals tight and best of all it is easy to handle thanks to the ingenious handles.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cooks like a dream, October 15, 2010

I am so pleased with my purchase of Rachael Ray's 4-quart stoneware covered oval casserole. It cooks like a dream and cleans up in a hurry. It is just the right size to hold food for 4-6 people. The helper handles are so convenient. The blue is a beautiful cobalt blue color and coordinates perfectly with my dishes.

This review is from: Rachael Ray Stoneware 2-3/4-Quart Covered Bubble & Brown Casserole "Casserround", Blue (Kitchen)
I was pleasantly suppressed by the 2.75 Casserround the first thing that I cooked in it I managed to burn to a crisp (my fault read the directions wrong had the oven at 450 when it should have been 350) even with backed on cheese and potatoes the dish cleaned up without the need for any hard scrubbing. The next time I made something it turned out perfectly. The handles stay cool even when the food inside is bubbling away, and it goes right from the oven to the fridge so no need to dirty a second dish for leftovers.

The only downside to the Casserround is that it is much taller then most similar items so you may want to check it in your oven before the first time you use it and adjust the rack spacing if needed.

So pretty, versitile and wonderful! We can use it from microwave to the table or oven to table. The color is fantastic and the handles make it so easy to grab, hold and not drop! LOL!

I love the Rachael Ray "Casseround". It arrived in a timely manner and just in time to use for my holiday dinner.
Because it is so pleasing to look at, I baked and then served in it. Very versatile piece of stoneware.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love..........., September 20, 2010

I love the casserole and have used it a few times already. I am very dissapointed in Amazon though as the first one came broke and I had to pay the $10.00 postage to return it. Doubt I`ll use Amazon again at least for something like this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great piece!, December 5, 2010
This is one of many bubble and brown stoneware pieces I own. All of them are great to cook with and clean up is a snap.

I've used this product for a juicy meatloaf, a tender chuck roast w/ potatoes, carrots, onions and mushrooms and have a lot more in mind for future great dishes. Also love the great color that matches my orange and white kitchen decor.
