Rachel Lynette has written over one hundred nonfiction books for children as well as resource materials for teachers (www.rachel-lynette.com) She is also a Top Ten seller on the website teacherspayteachers.com. In addition, she writes a blog for teachers, parents and homeschoolers focusing on higher level thinking skills called Minds in Bloom (www.minds-in-bloom.com).
Rachel lives in the Seattle area with her husband, two delightful children, an adorable terrier named Dobby and a rather noisy cat called Cosette. When she isn't writing she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, biking, drawing, and crocheting colorful hats.
