5.0 out of 5 stars A great beach read., June 10, 2001

This review is from: Rachel And The Md (Single Doctor Dads) (Harlequin Romance) (Paperback)
I purchased this book by Donna Clayton because a friend suggested that I would love this author. I couldn't agree more. I stayed up past midnight to finish "Rachel". It was good, wholesome fun, an old fashioned romance. I think Rachel and the Doctor would be a terrific made for tv movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars If I had to pick a favorite...., May 16, 2001
This review is from: Rachel And The Md (Single Doctor Dads) (Harlequin Romance) (Paperback)
This is the third book in Donna Clayton's Single Daddy Doctor series...and I enjoyed every one of them. If I had to pick a favorite, though, I would choose Rachel and The MD. It was terrific to visit with the characters from her other two books, but I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed Rachel's relationship with Sloan. Maybe it's the friendness into something more thing...I don't know. Perhaps it was the background of the characters. As I said I enjoyed all three books and highly recommend that you read all three, but this one was indeed my favorite.

4.0 out of 5 stars :), April 9, 2001
This review is from: Rachel And The Md (Single Doctor Dads) (Harlequin Romance) (Paperback)
This is the last book in the single doctor dads series. Dr. Sloan Radcliff is a widow trying to raise his three triplet daughters. If you read the other two books than you know that Rachel, the office manager has always been there for Sloan and his daughters, and she is the girls godmother. Rachel also has another secret that if you are reading the series than you know. Rachel is in love with Sloan. Sloan, being a typical man, is unaware of Rachel's feelings. Sloan's daughters, on the other hand, feel that their dad needs a distraction to keep his focus off of them. They believe if they get there dad interested in a woman than he will be to preoccupied to worry about them. They get there dad and Rachel together on New Years Eve and for the first time Sloan sees Rachel for the attractive woman that she is. Sparks fly, but the future is long and bumpy. Not to mention the fact that both of them feel pretty guilty about the past.

Again, I was disappointed in this book like the other two. The story was centered mostly on the characters thoughts instead of their actions, interactions, and conversations with each other. I felt that the story had a lot of potential, but that it fell short at the end.
