I love to watch her on her TV show when I can get it. I would love to attend her cooking school in Ireland.

Rachael Allen is occasionally on Create,an "off~shoot" of pbs programming. Just cannot wait to prepare the foods. Same as other cookery books by her that we purchased. Her 'skillet' scones are to Live For!Very approachable and quite easy and still as elegant as One chooses to Be.A refreshing Point in Moments of the Fast Food Craze,of which I cannot participate. Too many allergies, and Soy is Now considered an "Uber Food".By the way, Skillet Scones are not in this cookery book, yet a simple 3 ingredient Biscuit Recipe that is Sooo Easy,You Will Simply Shake Your Head and think,No Way. Actually, Yes!Grab Any of Ms. Allen's books. Her Family hail from Ireland's Famous, Prestigious Cookery School~Ballymaloe. People go there from literally around the World's Orb to learn.Bobby Flay of Foodnetwork just had a special program 2 weeks ago on their Network. Was Divine. Darina Allen prepared scrumptious foods. Organics play a Huge Part in the lifestyle of Ireland. Trust Me, I never write what I do not Believe is True. The cookery book with the "skillet scones"is in her Home Cookery Book with her leaning on Back of "house".Sorry haven't title for now. Will post ASAP.Looked it up~:Favourite Food at Home.A Treasure!

I really like the all of these programs, the problem is I need sub-titles & since these are BBC etc. their sub-titles only work on UK TV sets. The description of the DVD does not indicate that the sub-titles won't work on the majority of US sets. Amazon needs to clarify this, 2nd time I've had to return a series because the sub-titles would not work on a US set. If this problem were to be rectified would not hestitate to buy the series.
