4.0 out of 5 stars So Good I Could Eat It
Rachel Allen, Irish TV chef has produced a fine cookbook here with easy-to-make recipies that are both mouth-watering and accessible. What I want in a cookbook is to advance my knowledge of food and create delicious recipies that are fun to make and do not take 3 Michelin Stars to execute. 3.0 out of 5 stars Review re. packaging of books
The first time I received this book it was in a large box with other items. The dust cover was torn and the hard cover was crushed in several places. I returned the book and received another in its place. That too came in a box without any extra packing, other than two air "bubbles". The book was lying in the bottom of the box with the bubbles on top. Of course,...

Here you get some wholesome recipies from staple foods like Fillet Steak with the most devine brandy sauce, Korean-Style beef, a host of fabulous desserts and party favourites...There is something for everyone here and plenty to choose from as there is no limit here on the quantity of recipies between the pages. Recommended.

The first time I received this book it was in a large box with other items. The dust cover was torn and the hard cover was crushed in several places. I returned the book and received another in its place. That too came in a box without any extra packing, other than two air "bubbles". The book was lying in the bottom of the box with the bubbles on top. Of course, during shipping the book banged against the inside of the box. The dust cover was slightly damaged - a bit scruffed but not torn. As I wanted to give it as a gift before Christmas, I did want to return it again. You used to always pack books in a corrugated tightly fitting package and they would arrive unscathed. Please return to that method of packing. You surely must be getting a lot of complaints about the new packing habits.
