If I could own only one CD, it would be Rachel's Song. The first time I heard it I was in tears, it is such a nice album. It is great for those times when you are relaxing by the pool or curling up with your favorite book. Buy this one, it will move and touch you in ways you thought no album could.

this is my favorite album! i listened to this cd every night for the 9 months of pregnancy with my son. then for the first 3 months after he was born.

i lost it on a trip. i have not been able to find it again till now.

i played one of the samples. my son, who is now almost 2, came running into the room with his jaw dropped and stared at the computer.

he knew the music still, after 16 months! WOW!

it really is a wonderfull album.

Rachel's Song has haunted me for years. I would hear it over the radio station. Well, finally I found it on Amazon.com. I have ordered every CD that is available by David Combs and Gary Prim. Thank heavens for these 2 talented people. They are certainly using their talents the way God intended. Rachel's Song is beautiful beyond description.

We bought a cassette version of this album about 10 years ago in a small boutique store while on vacation in Carmel, CA. They were playing the music when we were walking by and it caught our interest. We now live on the Monterey Peninsula. We had a baby in February 2000 and this cassette has been playing every night in her room since we brought her home! It always seems so peaceful in her room with this music playing, and my husband and I enjoy listening in our room, too, through the baby monitor! We're afraid we're going to wear out the cassette, so we're ordering the CD version today!

I remember the first time I was introduced to Rachel's Song, we had bought a cassette tape holder at a yard sale and this tape was in it. We originally were going to use this tape as a test tape on a cassette player that had a habit of eating them, I decided to pop it into my good tape player first to see what was on it. It started at the very beginning with Rachel's Song and it moved me to tears... the rest of the album was just as good. I played it for my grandmother on a trip once and she asks me to bring this whenever I see her. Rachel's Song has been such a big part of my life, it touched me so deeply many, many years ago and still to this day (I am listening to it right now) I can feel the tears welling up. What a wonderful and beautiful soundtrack for our every day life!!

This has always been a favorite song of mine. It was played at my second wedding and at my daughter's wedding in 2003. It is a great CD with great music. Very relaxing.

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful instrumental Cds I have ever heard. When I was going through a very stressful time in my life, I listened to this every night before going to sleep. I have also bought copies for friends who needed comfort in their lives.

When you've finally had ENOUGH of the news, put this music into your life and find some tranquility.

The album Rachel's Song is subtitled "The Instrumental Album" which does not truly reflect the tranquil qualities of the CD. The selections on this CD bearing such titles as "Symphony of Peace," "Images of Hope," "Tranquil Moments," etc., indicate the album's focus and emphasis. Just as with Prim's other CD, "Beautiful Thoughts," the music is perfect for reading, writing, or introspection or as background music for just about anything you wish to do.

I was happy to find this CD. I happened onto a cassette tape when I was browsing a few years ago. I immediately fell in love with th title song. I wanted to have it on CD also. I would also like the piano music to this. I also found that I have another of the same mens music that I didn't realize what it was untill I got looking at the name as it sounded familar.
