My Summary
Molly is a spunky, funny, shy trick rider doing the pre-race show for the Motocross Season. She didn't want to go but agreed to do the race circuit. Little did she know, doing the circuit would mean meeting the man she's been missing in her life. She doesn't do dating according to her brother and father men are all the same. With her past she believes most of what they say is true. Her mother tells her to wait for a good man, they exist. As soon as her eyes land on Carter she senses there is something different about him.

Carter is ready to settle down. He doesn't do the whole groupie scene. He waits with his friends to meet the famous Motocross, X Games Gold winner and trick rider. Instantly when he sees Molly he knows she's the one. Will she notice?

Will this couple make their relationship last through the season without her brother killing Carter, or will something from her past rip them apart?

How Distracted Did I Get?

I absolutely loved Racing to Love ~ Carter's Treasure. I had a hard time putting the book down, especially when I needed to go to bed. The love story grabbed me the mystery helped with the follow through to the end. Molly is a wonderful leading lady and Carter aka "Hollywood" is to die for. They have awesome friends and family as a supporting cast that will crack you up.

If a romance with a little mystery is for you make sure to pick this book up and give Racing To Love ~ Carter's Treasure by Amy Gregory a go! The characters and story are amazing.

I wasn't exactly sure what type of racing this book referred to when I signed on for the blog tour. It was a pleasant surprise as I started reading and discovered that it was BMX. There aren't near enough books out there that explore some of the lesser known sports. So yeah, I must say if you like all kinds of sports then you won't be disappointed by this one at all!

Molly West is a start in the sport. She's been on top of the Women's Motocross and can outrun the men as well. She's got spunk and determination. As a woman in a man's world she knows that she has to earn her way and Molly's had absolutely no problem doing that. I love that Molly stood up to the jerks that are always present. As for her and Carter...they made such a fantastic couple. Amy Gregory did a nice job showing the give and take of starting a relationship with careers that are so demanding in both safety and time. One of my favorite traits from Molly was that she didn't back down when her brother, Brody, tried to build a wedge between Carter and her. No matter what she stood true to what she wanted.

Carter is the nice guy. At least until Molly is in trouble, then the alpha male shows up and doesn't leave. He was such an easy guy to fall for. From the beginning Carter knows that he's going to fall for Molly and makes sure to tell her as well. It's not very often that you find the guy being first out of the gate to confess his feelings. It was such a refreshing thing to see in romance. My favorite thing about Carter was that he was always thinking of Molly and what would work best for her.

Overall I'd recommend this book. It was a fresh take on a sports story. But even if you aren't familiar with sports you're likely to enjoy reading Molly and Carter's story. I hope that we get the chance to read more about the secondary characters in the book!
