Roll returning,
By LyndaM.R. (Houston, TX USA) - See all my reviews

After reading R. Hanna's review, I did a little research into the product and contacted the Extrufix Corporation that makes the Rack Sack and the refills. The Customer service person I spoke to there said that the roll will be returning in November 2006. It will be unscented but have the handles that make the new design easier to hook the bag onto the rack. Both products will be available since it's about a 50/50 split between those who like the new bag and those who want the old design.

It's hard to tell from the product description, but these refills do not come in a roll like the old refills. They are individual bags with handles and they SMELL TERRIBLE, like a bad scented diaper pail liner.
Save your money and recycle old plastic shopping bags.

Well, since it is after November when Lynda said the roll type bags were coming back, I contacted the mfr. They indicated that at this point, Publix Grocery and 1-888-contain are the only customers that are going to order them. I do NOT have a publix anywhere near me and I have e mailed the people at 1-888-contain and i don't yet have a reply. But they don't even have the rack sack on their web site so I don't know how good it is looking.
The rolls of bags won't be available until Jan 2007 (if you are lucky enough to find them) Diane I did hear back from The Container Store and they will be available at the end of December. They said I could order now and they will ship out when they become available. The Container Store 1-800-733-3532. Supposedly the product has a news name. Container Store claims it is Trashrac. Not sure how accurate this is though. It appears nobody knows what they arwe talking about. The product ame did NOT change as the person at the container store told me. It is still a rack sack made by CPI plastics. I just wish people in charge of giving information out to the public were better trained and knew what the heck the are talking about. Diane
