Editorial Reviews

Ripped from the case files of police forces across the country, "Racket Squad" sought to expose the devious machinations of the con-man. Running from 1951-1953, "Racket Squad" was one of the first series to portray the gritty reality of criminal investigation and was twice nominated for an Emmy award.

A Place For Grandma: An elderly woman is swindled out of her life savings at a phony retirement home.

The Family Tree: A skeptical husband is duped by a con-man genealogist hired by his wife to trace his family heritage.

The Christmas Caper: Braddock finds himself faced with the unenviable task of having to arrest a beloved street corner Santa Claus.

The System: A beautiful woman lures a succesful stock broker into an elaborate scheme that will cost him a fortune.

captain braddock is back at the helm, and any of these vintage shows are worth getting. not the best episodes, though, either for the series or the actors.

1.0 out of 5 stars WTF! Alpha Home Logo thru Every Episode April 10, 2013
By John M.
Verified Purchase
I just received Racket Squad Volume 11 bought from Amazon. I am beyond pissed at finding the Alpha Home Logo throughout each Episode! WTF is this BS! I expect what I spend money to be free of your GD logo superimposed over the video I bought. The originality of the programing is destroyed by this abortion!
This is going right back to Amazon and that's the last dollar Alpha Home will get from me!
